The Glacier Experience

For our first anniversary my husband and I traveled to Glacier National Park in Montana. Many may assume that we are the outdoors type, but we are actually not at all! Glacier caters to campers and hotel lovers alike!
It was a great trip and we will never forget it for many reasons. First and foremost is that we got to hike to see a glacier, Grinnell Glacier. You also cannot beat the picturesque views as you travel through the park on Going to the Sun Road. Second is that an unexpected outcome of the hike was that we both had the worst sunburn of our lives and spent the rest of the vacation in loose fitting, total body covering clothing. We also had the joy of cooling down the burn in extremely cold water. The unexpected benefit of the sunburns was that we traveled to the Canadian side of the park, which was beautiful. I am attaching a video of the glacier as well as pictures from the Canadian side and Going to the Sun Road.

  1. How beautiful the glacier is! It is now on my list of places to travel. Love your first project! Pond are so relaxing and a patio next to it will allow you to really enjoy it.
